The short version

What financing a car here actually involves

Most cars leave our floor on finance. What that actually means is a conversation with a lender about your income, your deposit and how long you want to be paying — and a set of papers that has to reach the right desk in the right order. We do not lend money and we do not set the terms. What we do is make sure the car, the valuation and the paperwork are not what slows it down.

Nine lenders. One conversation at the counter.
  • Start with the car and the total

Before anything else we work out what this specific car costs you to own — the price, the transfer, the insurance, and what it drinks. A repayment you can meet on a car you cannot run is not a good deal.

  • Pick a lender and apply

You choose who to borrow from — your own bank, or one of the lenders below. We prepare the valuation, the proforma and the vehicle documents they will ask us for, and send them across.

  • Approval, then handover

The lender decides, and they set the rate and the period. Once the funds are confirmed we complete the transfer and hand over the car, the keys and every document that belongs with it.

Get matched with a lender

Tell us the car, what you can put down and how long you want to pay over. We will come back with which of our lenders fits, what they will ask you for, and what the next step is.

This is not a loan application and it is not a credit check. Nothing here is submitted to a bank until you have spoken to somebody and agreed to it.

Preferred lender (you can change your mind later)

We pass your details to the lender you choose; they decide the rate, the term and the outcome. Naming one here does not commit you to it, and you are free to use your own bank instead.

What we do not do

A dealership that promises you finance is promising something it does not control. Here is the line, so you know exactly who to ask for what.

  1. We do not lend, and we do not decide who is approved.

  2. We do not set interest rates, deposits or repayment periods — the lender does, in writing, to you.

  3. We cannot promise a decision by any particular date.

  4. We are not licensed financial advisers. Read the lender's offer letter, and take advice on it if you are unsure.

  • Do you finance the car yourselves?

No. We are not a lender. You borrow from a bank or a microfinance institution, and they decide the rate, the deposit and how long you pay over. What we do is prepare the valuation, the proforma invoice and the vehicle documents they ask us for, so the paperwork is not what slows it down.

  • Which lender should I use?

Whichever gives you the best offer — including your own bank, if it does asset finance. The lenders listed on our financing page are the ones we deal with often enough to know exactly what they will ask for.

Tell us which one you are leaning towards and we will send them what they need.

  • What rate will I get?

That is the lender's to quote, in writing, to you — it depends on your income, your deposit and the car. We do not quote rates, and any dealership that quotes you one it does not control is telling you something it cannot keep.

  • What will the lender ask me for?

Usually your ID and KRA PIN, proof of income, and recent bank statements. Every lender's list is slightly different and theirs is the one that counts — ask us and we will confirm it for whoever you are applying to.

  • Is the form on this page a loan application?

No, and it is not a credit check either. It asks only what we need to call you back about a specific car: how to reach you, the figures you have in mind and which lender you prefer. Nothing goes to a bank until you have spoken to someone and agreed to it.

Questions?

The ones we are asked at the counter most days. If yours is not here, ask — we would rather answer it now than after you have paid a deposit.
